A traditional, comfortable, Victorian hotel set in 30 acres of gardens and woodland high in the Shap Fells. An ideal place from which to visit the Lakes, Fells and Border Country.Our 3 conference suites, 7 conference rooms, will accommodate between 6 and 180 delegates. Our 2 banqueting suites, the Birbeck and Bretherdale, accommodate up to 400 and 100 respectively. We also do weddings for up to 350 people.
